The Bata Organisation also had College facilities where young men were trained in the art of Shoe Making. These young men came from all over the Country and were trained in either the Leather or Rubber side of the industry, or Administration. Once again the sporting facilities were important and many of these young men went on to play for the Companies first team in various sports.
