In the production by the dramatic section of Bata Sports and Social Club, this part will be played by typewriter mechanic Louis Gladwell, who at 23, has had four year’ experience of leading,. singing and acting parts on the amateur stage.
Louis has played with the Havering Players, Romford, and was a member of Brentwood Operatic Society, which is noted particularly for Gilbert and Sullivan productions. Among the latter works in which he appeared are “H.M.S. Pinafore”, “The Yeoman of the Guard”, and “Ruddigore”. A leading part in a straight play, a first class thriller, was that of Det. Inspr.
