Nearly five years ago Mr Angus N Campbell, at the age of eighteen, first came to the factory as junior clerk in the engineers' office.
In March, 1935, he was made rubber factory wages clerk. For over wo years he was engaged on this work unitl September, 1937, when he was promoted to chief wages clerk.
The management has chosen him, for his intimate knowledge of the factory's book-keeping and wages system, to take on a difficult and tedious task in the leather factory. He has been released from his duties as chief wages clerk to concentrate solely upon controlling the wages of the largely expanded leather factory.
He is an extremely popular fellow-worker, known and liked by everybody and he takes an active part in the sports and social events of the factory.
At Easter he will be married to Miss Eileen Jennings, forewoman from the rubber factory, and we take this opportunity of wishing him every success in his two new ventures.
