William Cogger - 2 December 1938

William Cogger began working in the rubber factory in March, 1934 when he was twenty years of age. His first job was clicking and packing material in Department 302. From there he was transferred to the assembly department 322, packing and delivering shoes to the receiving room. His next step up was to checker on the same department.
In 1935 he was promoted to foreman of Dept 387. Since then he has been foreman of Department 322 and ow controls Department 324, making an intricate and new design in ladies’ indoor slippers.
Mr Cogger has helped his department to win several competitions. He has a practical experience of manipulating and clicking materials, he can do all operations on the conveyor as well as in the sewing department.
