Son of Albert Edward and Emily Archer of Horndon on the Hill and husband of Gladys Clara Archer of Pitsea.
Stoker 1st Class, Royal Navy.
Died on Friday 2nd October 1942, aged 24.
Prior to the war he worked in Department 402.
Albert was a keen member of the local scout group in Horndon on the Hill. He would also go for long bike rides with his friends around the Essex Countryside when he had the time.
