Private in the 4th Battalion Suffolk Regiment.
Born on 15th February, 1918, son of Henry John and Lilian Ethel Brandon of Windsor Avenue, Grays, Essex.
Died on Monday 7th June 1943, aged 25.
Was a prisoner of war in Thailand and died in the Nikki Prisoner of War Camp on the Burma Siam Railway.
He joined the British Bata Shoe Company on 20th March, 1936, he had previously worked for Williams, London Road, Grays, Essex. He worked in the Upper Manipulation Department of the Leather Factory for 4 years before joining the Army in 1940.
