Gunner in 23 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery.
Died of wounds on Monday 15th November 1943, aged 22 whilst fighting with the Central Meditteranean Forces.
Son of Harry and Ada E. Rayment of Great Tarpots, Benfleet, Essex. Lived in Stanford-le-Hope.
Worked in Supply Deptment and Department 680 for just over 2 years before leaving at the outbreak of war as a gunner in the Territorial Army.
He was a member of the British Expeditionary Force in Norway and later was wounded in the North African Campaign in 1943.
