Gunner 360 Battery, 110 Light Anti Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery.
Son of Percy and Louisa C Dawson, of Pitsea.
Died on Friday 30th June 1944 in France, aged 22.
Ronald Dawson worked in the Rubber Factory Department 654 for 3 years before leaving to join the Merchant Navy in 1941. He later joined the Army.
In a letter to the Bata Record in 1944 he said that he was somewhere in India and had visited several Bata Shoe Shops there.
